I currently have nine cats. Every day is Cat Herding Day around here! However, the cats would tell you that it's always Human Herding Day, as every day they have to herd me into the kitchen to start popping cans...

Feeding them takes some herding skills at our place! First juggle five different bowls with five different food combos for the cat's age & health issues in a tiny kitchen with minimal counter space, THEN get each cat to eat from its own bowl and not switch with the cat across the room, and then the other cat, and the other cat...

jane... that was the one time i got all 4 in place - the "Instagram perfect pic" ;-)

they aren't that bad at getting in each other's bizniz.. but man, sometimes they all want to eat a different times... those cat doors are 24x7x365.. summer can be the worst.. one an hour, staggered all day

when i get up of course.. first things first as you well know.. wouldn't have it any other way - cheers!

It's a great photo!

I am so amazed when I get all five eating at once (some days it does happen, but only when I first get up - even though hubby has already fed them earlier, they all want me to feed them, too) I call him to come see the miracle!

We adopted a bunch of special needs kittens, most with the condition they be "indoor only". So not so much cat flap action, but plenty of litter tray cleaning!
