Whoa, There are 32 pages of posts here in the cooking forum, but most of them are older.  This leads me to believe that there are a lot of good posts on just about everything cooking already.  I sadly admit I have not been to this forum before.  Please direct me to a few favorite threads (name of post, author, post date) and i will get started!

Hi Cris, when you say "I'll get started" what do you mean? What are you hoping to gain from the cooking forum? Do you have favorite foods or goals in mind?

As you said, lots of threads covering many food related topics, so easier for others to know what to suggest with a few more details.

Glad you found it. :) LOTS of good stuff here.

Hey Cris-
when you click on the forum page (https://permies.com/f/17/cooking ) you should see some thumbnails on the left-ish showing the best threads ever and the best threads this year. The best threads ever keep on going onto a second page, if I were you`d start there.
If you're just browsing, the "what`s for dinner" thread is a good place to start. https://permies.com/t/1126/kitchen/dinner
