If someone does find something effective against nut allergies, I would love to hear about it.

If getting hit over the head with a metal chair fixed it, I would be grabbing the nearest person and offering them $5 and a metal chair.

I wonder if nut allergies are more about the way nuts are processed than the actual nut itself. I know some nuts like cashews use quite a lot of chemicals to get them out of their shell and peanuts are planted in the same fields as crops with heavy pesticide use.
