Wondering if anyone has actually used tobacco successfully to deworm goats. Read legend and lore about grandad and customers, but is there anyone who knows from experience how much and how often???

Supposedly, some vet types say an adequate dose would kill the animal. Two things: first if that is true, there are a lot of grandad and uncles twisting truth. Second, MY GOSH, some dewormers may as well be gasoline or paint remover the way they smell and the way the goats react. Can not believe tobacco at a proper dose would be worse.

Hi I raise goats and some love to eat cigs but I would not rely on that as a dewormer , Some do not eat it.  It would be hard to dose in a measured amount. Fiasco Farms website has info on natural dewormers.

Are we talking processed tobacco ready to smoke?  Or raw leaves from your patch?

I have used her formula. Unfortunately, it did not make enough of a dent in the parasites here.

Holly was looking awful sad. I gave her this tiny ad to cheer her up!
