Hi Cassie;
Big Welcome to Permies!   Glad you decided to step up and join us!
Plenty of Permies folks live in that general area, so should be answer's to any local area  questions!
Even though its Tennessee you will still have a winter...
Might want to stop on by the rocket mass heater forum and learn all about theses amazing, super efficient, ultra clean burning stove that you build yourself! And they only use a tiny pile of wood to stay toasty warm all winter long!
Can you tell I'm a believer?
There is a forum for just about any subject your interested in.
Stick around, kick back and read awhile...  Never fear if it gets dark... We will leave the light on for you!

Welcome, Cassie!
So glad you finally joined us here at permies! Dive right in--we're looking forward to knowing you better.

Brace yourself while corporate america tries to sell us its things. Some day they will chill and use tiny ads.
