“Just have a think” is a youtube channel run by Dave Borlace. He is a deep thinker and produces high quality content focused on Climate Change. His content covers a lot of technology in a way that is easy to understand without dumbing down.
He recently published a piece titled
Rethinking Climate Change. The path to a 90% emissions reduction by 2035.“ based on
“Rethinking Climate Change Report” published by
ThinkX. The report itself needs someone like Dave to break it down and his
video does an excellent job. The
ThinkX website also has some excellent videos and written content, but it seems to be more based at policy makers. What got me really excited was passive reforestation and the freeing up of
land currently used for industrial agriculture.
If you have 20 minutes, I highly recommend you watch the video. It’s refreshing not to be bombarded with hopeless doom and gloom and sound bites.
If you have a couple of hours then the report is also well worth reading.
