Recent topics/site layout issues

I know and understand the need to "retire" the recent topics page. No objections from me. This is not about that.

It looks like today my last pie expired my old shortcut took me to the page in the first image below.

Ok, fair enough, I'll navigate back to my to the usual view. But none of the links at the top of the page take me there. The "forums" link. The ribbon at the top of the standard page is missing, which has the link back to "forums" seen in the second view.

I ran into this on mobile, and it took me a while to navigate my way back to see what was new. The second image has the ribbon along the top.

I run into this too. The site is unpleasant to use on mobile.

I think Michael's talking more about the inability to easily navigate to any other view of the forums once you hit the page he's showing.

I usually end up hitting the permies logo which brings me to the main permies page, then scroll down to the all forums link. Something like that.
