I use that in my self watering beds. In my green house I run it under my beds and attach a boat bilge fan to it to pump hot air from the gable under the beds. The warm air heats the beds from underneath. If it has the slits, I have used it for grey water distribution to beds near the house.

This is good material to create solar convection flows.
- a heat producing wall on a garage or shed
- vent stacks on an outhouse, to reduce moisture and odour
A potential downside -- it may not be UV stable, since it's designed to be buried, so it may break down over time.
I have about 150ft of this stuff without the slits. My father in law decided to just dump it on my property....
I am using some of it as the downspout off my gutters into some water storage. This is a total junker of a system and needs to be improved in every way but for now it's OK. UV susceptibility remains to be seen, it's only been up for a month.
I did cut some cracked IBC containers in half to make some "Rob Bob" style wicking beds and I was excited to put this junk to use. But alas, no slits. I may drill holes in it and still use it, depends if I can find a better use. Drilling 36,000 tiny holes sounds like a pretty lame Saturday.
Dan, I used the pipe without the slits in my wicking bed, I just used weed barrier to prevent the pipe from filling up with dirt and it has been working for years.
