Great news for Permies and Homesteaders -

Our very own Paul Wheaton and fellow permie Justin Rhodes had a lovely pow-wow last week, and cooked up some special stuff, which we'll be able to tell you about in the weeks to come.

Of note right now, is that Justin loves permies so much that he is offering a month of free membership to his online community, Abundance Plus!

How cool is that?

I had a look around, and it's kinda like Netflix and Facebook got together, left the corporate world behind, started a homestead and had a baby named Abundance Plus.  There's some really great stuff on there, catered specifically for folks like us at Permies.com.

here's the link to sign up:
https://abundanceplus.com/?rfsn=6483553.7e2b3b
IMPORTANT: Follow the "7-day free trial" button, and choose the monthly subscription.
(It won't work on the yearly subscription.)
On the credit card information screen, you enter the code PAULFM on the right-hand side, in the "Coupon or Gift Card" field.
Voila!
You will get your first month for free.

Great Idea!  I  wasn't able to use the discount code.

This would be an even GREATER idea if we could just get one month free to try it out, without the hassle of providing our credit card and signing up for a subscription, and then having to cancel if we decide it wasn't the right fit for us.

Any chance of this happening?

Sandy

Patricia, a few questions -
Did you select the monthly membership?
Did you see a checkout screen with a discount field where you attempted to use PAULFM?
Were you signing up using Paypal?

Regarding sign-up process and credit info, you can look at that like "payment for the free month," and just plan on cancelling if you want. If that is a hassle, there is no obligation to exercise this offer!

I've attempted using two different browsers.

Yes I chose monthly, No, there is no field to enter a code, only a card number /exp date/ CVC then a button to COMPLETE. NO, I am not using the PAYPAL button.

Thank you, that is helpful information.  If you want to pursue it still, can you send me a screenshot of the checkout page?  That may help the A+ folks figure out what's going on.

I got feedback from a+ that a lot of folks have been able to use the discount code successfully.  If anyone's having trouble, there might be some weird one-off problems, or there might be some user error involved (hey, it happens).  Let me know if anyone still needs help.

Okay, there should have been "coupon and gift code" field on the right of the screen where you clicked "paypal."

I pm'd you.

Do you have to enter credit card info for the thing to work? I see the gift code spot and put in the code, but nothing without the actual cc #. I don't care to have to remember to cancel before I get charged.

I'd hoped to be able to contact Justin through this to finally get an answer about getting chickshaw plans. I tried on the you tube video of the chickshaw but have received no response.

Oh well. That's how it goes.

This looks awesome, thanks!

It sure was nice of your sister to lend us her car. Let's show our appreciation by sharing this tiny ad:
