A grex of whatever good pole green beans I could find. Ancestors include Top Crop, Blue Lake, Fortex, Trionfo Violetto etc. All the seeds from the F1 generation were collected from volunteers. This is a young project, culling out plants that get “stringy” too early is still ongoing.

Grow and produce great in zone 6, southwest Missouri, as well as in Alabama near the Florida border.

I found a picture yesterday of the seed I planted last year.



So today, I was able to compare to it and sort my saved seeds for presumed crosses. Here's my best examples.



The tan ones with the brown veins could be just a variation of the ones in the Tuesday slot above, and the white ones could just be stained by the pods. The rest, though look like whole new patterns. I think they're the Wednesday and the Saturday ones crossed.
