I guess, my question would be about your assumptions about toilet paper. What makes you think it is not sustainable? It is made out of trees, which can be quite sustainable when done right (I'm not saying the companies are, or are not, just that it can be done). If you mean, because you cannot make it yourself... then I would agree it is not sustainable... but if we are honest we use a lot of things that we cannot make ourselves (cars, phones, computers, etc).
TP also biodegrades quite quickly as far as I have seen. Do you have some experience or articles talking about it not breaking down?
