tube steak!

Paul, I've spent most of the last 25 years building and repairing parts for industrial machinery, I've been in quite a few food processing plants. The fastest way to swear off some "foods" is to see it "made"....

Hmmmm, liquid smoke!

Mark Twain warned us of two things we should never see being made . Now we have C-SPAN and Permies.com.

It didn't seem that bad to me. In fact, i was thinking that I might change a few things and it would be quite good.

Mouth-watering meal? Surely the commentator was using sarcasm on that line.....

Apart from the sheer amount of sausages made in a day and all the machines, I was surprised that the process is actually quite similar to what one would do to make hot dogs at home.

Okay, I am still freaked by the liquid smoking process. I would rather see a traditional smoking process. I guess the smoking and cooking process would be combined in the artisan method.

I also remember a video of how Spam was made. It did not look to bad - actually kinda good.
