good post, i eventually plan to make myself a dog wool blanket as my dog sheds a TON of hair i can imagine it being quite warm and soft to sleep under:)

Good idea but I always wondered if I got caught out in a rainstorm with a dog hair sweater on would I smell like a wet dog?

All ethics of maintaining a large order carnivore with growing global food security in the balance aside (guilty!) Samoyeds are an amazing dog for so many reasons. Amazing personality. Great working sled dogs. And fur you can turn into yarn with your bare hands. I grew up with a rescued one. They are hard to source responsible (our came from a mill bust) but They've got to be the greatest dog for sweater production.


Edit: Cool video btw. I never would have expected to be able to knit a retriever
