Hi everyone,

When I built my house I had under-cabinet lighting installed.  The bulbs are little halogen tubes that sit right along the Romex wire that sits under the cabinet.  The bulbs themselves press into the Romex and make the connection.

One has burned out and for the life of me I can't seem to fine anything that even looks like a replacement.  I see lots of little button-style bulbs and loads of LED bulbs, but I want a bulb whose light matches the light output of the other bulbs.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

Would an LED globe be more efficient and perhaps what you are looking for are not available now?

I'm sure an LED bulb would be more efficient, but it sounds like the connection style of the halogen bulbs is unique and no LED replacement would fit.

I was fortunate to find a source of LED bulbs that fit my undercounter halogen lighting. The new one replacing the first burnout is much cooler while giving a bit better light.

A picture would help and maybe something about size.

I met your mom on a Carribean cruise and she said you would help me and this tiny ad:
