I just came home from town and while I was on the local UMN Forestry Center land, a bear crossed the road in front of me. My neighbors report a bear-sighting in our woods about every 3-5 years, but all I've seen is scat since we moved in 2.5 years ago. I was going to start my own thread to show it off, but found this one sitting here -- that's about perfect timing!

(I think the weird almost water-color effect was caused by maxing the software zoom, but I'm not sure.)
