I'm a 37 year old male looking for a home or community in the next month. I am running away with nothing to contribute financially, hoping to work and contribute full-time somewhere I can call home. I am new to this but eager to learn and happy to commit myself fully to a lifestyle outside of the evil corporate machine that has previously dominated my life. I am open to different possibilities. If you need someone to work/help and devote themselves to it completely I believe I'd be a good fit. My name is Peter.

I am open to all kinds of possibilities, please respond or message me anytime in any way. I am open to any kind of help, information, etc.
Also open to extended conversation to see if we fit. This is a beacon. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hopefully some folks will comment who may have a good community or homestead for you to slot into, wishing you success in this new life chapter and to find a right fit.

I would suggest you try doing some www.wwoofusa.org first. Get a better idea of what you want and what makes you happy.

Some communities are urban, some rural, some religious, some decidedly not, others are co-housing, and some have separate facilities. And that's just a start. Some are meat eaters, some only vegies, some smoke pot, some definitely do not. There's animal raising farms, some communities that just have gardens. Some profit share, some charge to stay. The list of kinds and differences of communities is pretty much endless.

I suggest you do some quite intense research, and trying out, and exploring possibilities. You'll end up much happier. And most certainly the community will be more pleased with you. "Any kind" is a solution for a few days. Your heart song will last much longer.

Hi Peter!

Have you heard about the Permaculture Bootcamp at Wheaton Labs? Here is the link to the Wheaton Labs website that has more information about it:

https://wheaton-labs.com/bootcamp/

If you have any questions about the bootcamp, head to this thread.
