Family of 5 seeks permaculture homestead

Hi all, as the subject line suggests we are looking for a place to call home.  We have been looking through traditional methods but just not finding anything that works or we would have to start from scratch.  We have three kids under age of 10 and want Them to continue learning permaculture techniques and methods.  

I took permaculture classes in college and have crafted designs for others but have never been able to do this myself at scale, only small areas that provide limited yields.  Now is the time.

If you have something you have built for years and want to turn the keys over to a family that wants to keep this going then please contact me.  Thanks in advance for any responses.

The world is a big place so knowing about what country you want to live in might help.

Or maybe at least open to all options.

One of our members might see that you want to live in Arkansas and say to themselves Hey that is the person I am looking for.

By giving a general area we might be able to add you topic to one of our regional forums.

Maybe have a look at the skills to inherit property program so people can see who you are and what you can do...

To the first question: we are in the southwest and permaculture for dry lands is what I know best but frankly the water issues and limitations are frustrating so we are open to right opportunity almost anywhere, preferably with the longest possible growing season.  

I also appreciate the info on SKIP, however I don’t really want to go through this at this point and we have the funds available for fair purchase.  Great program and opportunities though..
