Productive morning....

Used a solo stove under a pan with sand with a cast iron pan above  inside the rocket oven...

Because the smoke is in the oven the pizza gets the oak smoke flavor, and oh that is sooooo good...

I was able to turn out a pizza crust every 8 minutes one after another  so I was able to get 9 out......

I made up one pizza  with toppings, and the rest of the crust I will wrap  and put in the freezer for a fast pizza meal....     It is so awesome to grab a crust slap on the toppings and bam   pizza in just a few minutes.

Pizza Party at Mart's house!

Is that a dough press that you made down lower in your pictures?

Yes  it is my first prototype..     Sadly it broke  half way thru and I went back to standby roller pin..

I have an idea of using a chain saw  to cut one out of a log round, and use a 4 by 4  for the arm......        Still thinking about it....

Love having pizza reserves.

I love the press!
I roll my pizza crusts, but a press could really increase throuput.

That solo stove looks diy maybe?
Do you burn the wood to ashes or do you stop at the charcoal stage?
Either way, I love this low mass approach.
I bet it could cook some nice steaks as well.

$23.00    shipped,   then you drill holes in the out pot, the inner pot is the strainer   works a treat.

Walmart now sells a SOLO knock off for $ 40.00     which I would recommend as it is painful to cut thru stainless with a drill....

The heat from the solo stove is too intense   .....    But you give me an idea    I could seer  an chicken with the solo stove then put the chicken into my instant oot to cook it till it falls off the bone.......
