Do you also desperately want to spend time at Wheaton Labs but you have kids?

Do you want to bring your kids to Wheaton Labs so that they can also experience the benefits of living away from the toxic gick and sleaze of the suburban life in the system but you don't want them to be unsafe and/or annoying to you or others? I know, that run-on sentence was exasperating just like the content of the sentence.

Do you want to be in community with other families who share similar desires and values?

I'm sure I'm not alone here. So, if you feel similarly, please respond to my thread and maybe we can figure out how to form the 5C: Cooper Cabin Children's Camp Co-op. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child and I'd like to somehow manifest this in my life. Is it possible for multiple families to come together to support each other and ensure that our kids are nurtured without a ton of sacrifice and isolation?

Logistics and specifics are totally open for discussion.

If say, there were 5 total kids, then the parents would alternate a day of the week (1:1 parent volunteer per child attendee) to attentively care for and nurture the band of children. The parent volunteer would cook, clean, and prepare activities for the group of kids to bond and learn together.

Alternatively, maybe there happens to be a parent who has some expertise (maybe as a primary school professional) and has a desire to be the Camp host every day. This possibility would be lovely for the kids to have consistency each day. Perhaps a respectful exchange could be arranged between the willing parties.

Maybe this could be an experiment tied into the bootcamp?

I'll leave this idea at that for now. I hope to hear from you!

I think the best fit for this is the SEPPer Program.

come out and rent a cabin with your friends.   kids can play safely in nature and get a taste for eating food out of the ground and a little community.

I really want to build this at Wheaton Labs.  It is the most wonderful place to hang out.

I think if someone wants to pick this up and run with it,  that would be wonderful.

I have invited all my wonderful single mom friends to come and live at Wheaton Labs with me.  I know we can build paradise on earth there.

We all seem to have a little too much else going on, at the moment, in place where we are.

Soon though....  I have a plan.   I have my eye on an acre.   I am setting up my current life to run a little better with me being in Montana a little more.

Hear that? The pitter patter of tiny ads.
