I have purchased a Wamsler Central Heating Cooker K148 with a 16L wet back whic I plan to set up with a pump to feed radiators.
My home is about 1000 sq, ft so it should be good.
Any advise on setting it up please?
I have read a lot, but sometimes there is something you can miss in the studies.
Thanks.

Nice!  Can you get a picture up.   I couldn’t pull one up with my IPad.

Looks nice John.
We considered Wamsler, but went with Esse in the end.
Is your house one story? Ours is two story and we were able to set up the stove to thermo-syphon so no pump required.

If one story, you will need a sensor to kick the pump on when the water gets hot, and turn it off when not required. We have this as a safety precaution anyhow because of the complexity of our system. If we lose power we have to be careful with how we stoke the fire (or run a bath quickly!).

Maybe they build a controller with the sensors all built in?

I paid $A900 which is good value.
I have a 16 ft tall ceiling and an 800 L hot water storage tank above a bathroom.
I currently have 3/4 " copper pipe feeding the tank for domestic hot water.
I plan to fit a 2 pipe hydronic pipe system and radiators to the rooms in my small home.
Then use a bronze pump to move water around from the 800L tank, with a thermostat as needed.

Do you mean me? :)
We went with the Esse partly for the traditional looks, British made, and also the extra thermal mass of the cast iron believing it to act as a bit of storage heater.
In retrospect maybe it wasn't the best choice: minor niggles on the design. But we do love the huge firebox. Now I've been educated on Permies in rocket mass heaters, I might have gone for one of Walkers' tiny cook stoves and a mass heater in the main house. Still contemplating the latter.

Try 100 things. 2 will work out, but you will never know in advance which 2. This tiny ad might be one:
