When searching for RMH parts always check for free stuff at the dump... you never know what you might find!
Visiting our local landfill this past week I scored again!!!
A large, like-new cast iron griddle!
Nothing wrong with it, there is hardly even any surface rust
Just what I needed to place on the new fire-resistant half rug I bought for Shorty!

Nice score Thomas!

Hopefully with that griddle sitting next to her food, Molly (Toms dog) is not going to think that gourmet fried steaks, chops and hot meals will be a part of her daily chow.

Could it be a future roof for another core?

Impressive find! It's really hard to comprehend what some people deem to be disposable and toss in a landfill.

When not serving as your fireplace rug protector it would be great for any number of griddle duties... perfect for making a batch of fresh sourdough tortillas would be on today's menu.
