I have written a book on the nutritional content of insects. Feel free to check it out. It's called "The Dietitian's Guide to Eating Bugs." It's very much a work in progress and much of it is incomplete, but I intend to have it complete in a few weeks.

Hi Daniel, Welcome to permies. Wow, you have compiled some very interesting, and comprehensive information on bug nutrition. May I suggest you tell us a little about yourself, about your background, the reason for starting this project and your interest in permaculture. We have an introduction thread at permies, please consider posting that info there.

You can find all the information easily online for free. There's also a really good forum for raising and eating bugs: http://www.openbugfarm.com/forum.html

if you buy it is it a physical book? Price is steep, but I may be forced to buy it, as it looks great. Which is why the price is probably so steep.

Would you turn that thing down? I'm controlling a mind here! Look ... look at the tiny ad ...
