Not sure where to post this. I’m seeking other Permies in the area that might like to help each other out with projects.  You know those things like, how do I create a hoop house in my back yard, or how do I set up an aquaponics system, or even better-how do I build an adobe or earth bag wall?

I am crafty and handy but could use some other people to work with. I live north of Tucson and have 1.5 acres with a green house, hoop house, and even a labyrinth.  I’m looking to help others abs would like some help from others.  You know, like back in the day when we helped our neighbors.

This is for the Tucson /pima county area. Thank you. Susie

Hi Susie - welcome to permies! It looks like you have some interesting things going on. I wish I was close enough to join in, but as I live the other side of the Atlantic....An extra pair of hands (and sometimes another brain) can definitely come in handy for some projects.

Welcome Susie! I met some great permaculture inclined folks in grad school at Prescott College. I might look around at what the University of Arizona has going on related to regenerative ag and other permaculture adjacent fields. Maybe some idealistic and energetic students would want to help in return for access to a garden and your knowledge.

I was briefly in the S AZ permie loop before I moved across the Pacific, but that was over twenty years ago. Sonoran Permaculture doesn't appear to have updated their website in a long time but it looks like Barbara Rose is still active and her Bean Tree Farm is super inspiring. Then of course there is Brad Lancaster.
