hi, here in The Amazon jungle in Perú there is this plant growing everywhere. It's a legume that grows using as support other plants and produces small pods with hair and inside there are small beans.

There are a lot of them .  Do You know this plant?

Are these beans edible?

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I can't identify this, have you tried asking local people, who may know more?

However, I can paraphrase something on the subject of mushrooms, attributed to Terry Pratchett:

"All plants are edible, some, only the once"

To those readers who are unable to readily identify satire / irony this is not a suggestion to eat everything.  Some edible looking stuff is highly poisonous, hence you only get to eat it the one time.

Perhaps Calopogonium.  Calopo for short...

Also resembles mimosa, or a wild soybean. Photos of the flowers, leaves, and vines would help with a more robust ID.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
