For the last couple of years I have been trying lots of different kinds of floss.
Today I conducted an important scientific (ish) experiment.
I ate a tough steak followed by three beef-jerky-like-things. There was heaps of meat jam packed between my teeth.
I started with a floss called "glide". It's really common. It fished a little bit of the meat out - maybe 10%. But mostly it just polished the meat.
I then stepped up to
Tom's unflavored floss. I have tried the flavors in the past and found that they burn my lips. Tom's has been my fave for a long time because there is just something about the shape and texture of it that gets stuff out! Tom's did an excellent job! It got out about five times more stuff than "glide".
But then I moved on to
Dr' Tung's Smart floss. It fished out even more stuff - stuff that Tom's did not. This stuff is really interesting. If you pull it tight, it makes a tiny
thread. But if you let it be loose it fattens up into a big rope riddled with grabby nets to grab onto chunks of stuff. So I used it that way. And it worked great.
So my new recommendation is for Dr. Tung's. Especially for anybody eating jerky.
