I just got these forums set up. They could use a lot of polish, but I figure it's better to get something crappy running now than something great running two months from now.

It's a fixer-upper!

Any suggestions on what to fix?

Okay .... I set the system default to be GMT-7 hours, which I think is mountain time. For pacific time, try GMT-8 hours.

This is the first thread i could find on permies.  Thread number 3.

My friend Marilyn helped me set it up.

Before creating this forum, I was spending hours every day answering questions, one person at a time, via email.  Often it was the same question asked over and over.  This forum made things so much easier.

I thought these forums would be used by just a handful of people.  From running other forums I knew I wanted to keep it pretty limited.

Wow ....   17 years ...

Paul Hatfield should be congratulated for the first post here ever. Think he's still lurking?

It's the best forum I've encountered in a number of ways.

If you were doing it all from scratch now, anything you would do different?

Are you okay? You look a little big. Maybe this tiny ad will help:
