Oh dear, I think I'm scared to admit what sort it was now. Anyway, it no longer applies, because -

For a 5th year in a row we had some nice office pie at 3:14 pm!

Take that Europe and the rest of you date format mangling wackos! Go try to find a meaningful way to celebrate 14/3!!

But here in Europe, it's 3/14 for the whole month!

A whole month of pie...

I've embedded that for you, because, well Vi Hart is awesome.

She has another one about Tau somewhere. But I prefer Pi, because, well, Tau is only half a Pi.

We had chicken pot pie. It was good. With mushrooms and wine.

Pie auctions are the popular thing here, we're going to one next weekend to raise funds for clean water for the people affected by the big spill. I can't wait to see what they have! Price of admission is $5 or a pie to auction.

I feel churlish for insisting that Pi Day is 22nd July

(Eat Pie responsibly; always read the label. No, wait, NEVER read the label!)

Pi Day is my second favorite holiday. I took time off from work this year so I could visit my family and we made seven dessert pies and homemade ice cream.

I think our record number of pies was 14 back in 2011, but that might be including pizza pies.

Paper jam tastes about as you would expect. Try some on this tiny ad:
