Randy, do you mean milk chocolate for a candy bar? or hot chocolate? fudge? other candies?
I have, in the past, had such a chocolate craving that I mixed powdered chocolate with honey and ate it by the spoonful...it was really tasty.

The ingredients to good chocolate are extremely simple - just look at the label: cocoa, cocoa butter, sugar, vanilla, lecithin, milk powder for milk chocolate. The key is the process of conching, which would be difficult to replicate in a home setting.

Here is a LINK to what came up when I did a search for "milk chocolate candy bar recipes from scratch". i had to quit reading as it was making me crave a chocolate...they all sound delicious and seem to use pretty basic ingredients including powdered chocolate.
correction...some use powdered chocolate. sounds like they will be softer than a store bought though.
