Invention was kept away from the Germans during WW2. Short tech data published in Sept 1946 Amazing stories magazine, Now on internet free read. Frequency setting was 1.3Mhtz Tesla Coil high frequency, to break up molecules of water to fuel gases in chamber. Modern US Patent was interior coated heat exchanger with steam entry. The coating emits 1.3Mhtz . Engine runs on water to hydrogen. Waste exhaust heat boils water. "Burn water For Fuel"

I hope you can explain fully, I downloaded all the Hefferlin Manuscript in pdf form. Not able to find any connection to this invention from the 1940s

Hefferlin Manuscript , page 144 onward, relayed data that UNUSUAL METHOD bench test for making hydrogen was done in 1921. This Tesla Coil with electrodes apparatus + steam chamber operated prop plane in 1940's Hungary. The scientist emigrated to US in 1940's and took his tech papers , so as the advancing Nazi war machine would not have access. In modern days, our time, the disassociation of steam molecules was done with coated chamber with steam . The radiated frequency of 1.3Mhz supplied gaseous fuel to run modern engine. The technique of chemical adhesion to heat exchanger was Patented, only heat was added, to get Hydrogen from Steam.
Another french scientist Patented his method for self running engine with special made spiral heat exchanger with hot spot center, where steam was changed to Hydrogen fuel, by utilizing exhaust manifold heat. (Translated article + Patent from Bablefish)

There has been talk about hydrogen vehicles at various points in 20th and 21st centuries, but never any commercial success. Not that I am saying it could not be done. Just that it is not a secret or forgotten technology so much as one that has been investigated repeatedly but not yet successfully developed.
