I'm excited to add some more fruits to my homestead this year. I'm interested in wild plum, hardy kiwi, honey berries and a specific apricot, the Tilton apricot. I'm in southern Illinois and will drive to a nursery or order from a good source online. Any suggestions? Also any experiences you've had with these, please share. And Happy 2026 to all of us. Thanks!

Let me direct your attention to the Permie Seed & Plant Review Grid that has a few entries for tree nurseries already. I'm partial to Edible Acres when they have their annual sales as well as Twisted Tree Nursery.

I got prunus munsoniana, is that a plum or a cherry?

Plantscape nursery.  It is on a back road ( the Herrin Road) between Herrin and Colp.  This is a good sized business, quality product, with good service.  I drive about 60 miles to get there and feel it is worth the trip.
