There are these plastic mesh things, that let the grass or whatever grow in between. Of course the question is how natural a plastic grid would be. But it would look natural, let water pass and give you traction on muddy days.

Where I live we just mow the area that we want for a driveway, then drive over it for several days, thus creating a driveway.

The product that Benjamin suggested is a great suggestion if needed for usually wet.

Are you trying to avoid;
