So it took me about six months to build this system, but there were many delays. The liner was put into the basins two days after this video and the system is running now. I should have aimed into the fish tanks better so you could see the fish that are in there.

There are two systems. The Catfish side and the Tilapia side. Together they have 8,000 gallons for fish water and two 1,000 square feet grow beds.

This is located on a city farm in the old fruit harbor of Rotterdam. The plan is to grow the food for the fish from the waste from local restaurants eventually as well as the waste from this city farm. With a combination of maggots, earthworms and algae. The Dutch government won't allow us to grow black soldier flys.
