I went down to my 'zone 5' wilderness area along the river bank yesterday to pick hazelnuts. A reasonable year (although I think I was slightly late to the party). I took this photo of the windsculpted hazel trees overhanging a spring bank by the river. I couldn't find a thread on beautiful trees, so thought I'd start one.
