Raven, I found volume one at allbookstores.com      they had offerings from two sellers, both under 80.00    no current availability for the set, or for volume two.....
this app searches all major sellers

How about this?
https://pdfgoal.com/downloads/introduction_to_sericulture_by_ganga
This might help as well?

What I know about it could fit in one tooth cavity, but my dad wrote a scholarly article many, many years ago [in French]. My sister has been looking for it but has not found it yet.
Through millennia of commercial use by humans in China, the silk worm is now incapable of reproducing on its own. [I told you I didn't know much: this was it.]

I understand your dilemma.  I read slow too.  So one possible solution that is maybe not as preferable to buying your own copy is to actually copy the book, for your own use only of course.

When you do check out the book, instead of using the time to read it, scan it into an electronic file or photo copy the pages.  Now obviously you cannot use this to publish nor would I suggest that.  But if you keep it all to yourself, then i dont think you'll invoke the book police to come raid your home in the middle of the night 😉.  Then you'll have unlimited time to read at your leisure.  Then you could also continue your search to buy a set of books when they become available if you still wish to have your own copies of the physical book.  Best of luck at this.

May go-to for finding books is www.dealoz.com - searches over 400 online bookstores at once, by subject, author, title, or isbn. They list 4 purchase and 3 rental options for the ISBN 09781578082865

Try thriftbook.com. I've gotten $300 (on amazon) technical books for $30

dealoz.com checks thriftbooks, as well as hundreds of other bookstores at the same time.

Try looking on book finder again, but specify volume 2. Better yet: search by isbn, with volume 2’s isbn. If it’s a different volume or edition, the isbn will differ.

Can't .... do .... plaid .... So I did this tiny ad instead:
