Ryan Oeschger wrote:Official details to be determined as Paul plans his trip.  Check back :)  In the meantime, introduce yourself if you want to join us.

We're excited to host the upcoming Sandpoint Permies Gathering on Sunday, Sept 21st at 2pm.  Here are a few things to note:

  • Feel free to arrive at or after 2pm on Sunday, September 21st.  We are happy to allow it to end organically.

  • We are located near the Pack River Store to give an idea of location.  Purple Moosage me the week before for directions.

  • No dogs or other pets. Our LGD will not tolerate an outside dog, but loves invited people.

  • Bring a dish to share and any special beverages that you wish.  Paper plates or bowls that can be burned would be appreciated.  We have plenty of silverware that we can wash and cloth napkins.

  • Chairs are limited so it is advised to bring one if you need it.

  • Our house is very small so rain or shine this is an outdoor event. :)

  • We will have a few composting toilets available and biochar pee buckets for the ladies.  Men are welcome to water the trees.

  • Park in the mulched area just outside the gate, the additional mulched area just inside the gate (this area will involve blocking some in) or at the bottom of the road just after the turn from the county road.

Yes, I see 2 separate posts with different content for the same event but my comments go to only one post.

I would love to visit along with my wife. We’ve been in the Priest River area for 14 years and live totally off grid on our 5 acres. Dug our well and put in one hugelculture berm and the beginnings of a second one though there’s been minimal planting done on them.  Currently expanding my solar system along with dozens of other projects.

Very excited for this event!  A couple year ago I discovered permies and was going deep into the forums and videos as we made our plan to escape babylon and run for the hills.  We landed in North Idaho and met the hosts for this potluck, Ryan & Andrea last year.  They put together an amazing permaculture homesteading consultation for us and our property!  Looking forward to meeting and hanging with you all

    Hello Fellow Permies!

It's just about time for the Sandpoint Potluck!  If you are still able to make it send us a purple moosage (private message) for directions.

For a little more about us feel free to check out our website:  Guerrilla Provisions

We've quoted our message below with pertinent info about the potluck.  ~Ry & Dre Oeschger

    Ryan,

I am planning on rolling in an hour or two early to get settled into my accommodations for the night.  Should I go straight over to the other place?

You are welcome to come by anytime you are ready.  I will message directions now.  Annie & Nathon know how to get here though too.

I was sooo looking forward to this, but unfortunately we won’t be able to make it. We have to get ready for going to my father in laws funeral out of state.

We are excited to meet a bunch of regional Permies tomorrow!

We're buzzing around moving the last of the mulch to make way for more parking. Our neighbor has offered some space for overflow as well. :)

And we'll have a fire in the fire pit and space under the pole barn roof for those that want to step out of the rain :)
