maybe sometime in september?

Maybe i can go to portland in early september, and to sandpoint in late september?

How many people do you think you can get to come to a potluck?

I have no idea...within our local network maybe a dozen or so...and any local permies we haven't met yet would be welcome.

"The Situation" as you deemed it, is available. Do you remember the trailer with rooftop tent that I stayed in at your place for the PDC?  We do not have indoor accommodation space.

If you would prefer indoor accommodations, there is another permie not far from us that I can ask.

Thanks for the offer of the camper.  I am at an age now where I am looking for something a bit more comfortable.  Perhaps I will drive up in the morning, the potluck is in the early afternoon, and I will drive home.

I just spoke to our permie neighbor (in rural neighbor terms), Annie.  She has a room and a bed for you!  They are not far from us and do soil microscopy classes.  :)

Hey Ryan;
Would that be Annie D up Gold Creek?
If so, I helped her and Nathan with their RMH in the sauna & I will help them with their Batchbox in the house when they are ready.
Very nice folks, Paul should be comfortable there.

Yes, sir.  They are great folks.  Our oldest boys are taking her Soil Microscopy class.  They mentioned that you helped them with their sauna.  We have a sauna on the list as well...quite a few things ahead of it though.

Sandpoint is about three hours east of us so we might be able to join. Definitely closer than Portland. I’ll keep an eye on this thread and confirm as we get closer.

Yes!  We have a guestroom / classroom you can stay in. (There will be a nice bed set up when you get here).
We are not far from the potluck at the Oeschgers.
My 11yr old is an aspiring pie maker, so please let us know your favorite type of pie.

Greetings Paul, et al--

Excited to find a link to this thread in my inbox this morning! We are in Sandpoint and would love to join a potluck of fellow permies
We've been in the area a couple years, but quite busy building our home and gardens and still very much looking to meet and connect with more likeminded folks!
I'm 'saving the date' and please count us (myself, my husband, and our 11 yr old) 'in'!

Warmly,
Jenna

I would love to come to Sandpoint, I am in Spokane. If there are any Spokane people, we are hoping to start a new monthly (esp in winter) permaculture meet up. I hope to get more Rocket mass heaters built as well in Spokane.
