My partner was getting some severe wild-man-of-the woods Covid hair. We finally said, let's just do this. Went outside on a beautiful, calm evening. I brought my fabric scissors and a spray bottle of
water. It was so much fun! I just kind of went with my instincts. I do a lot of
art too, so I was thinking of this like making
art, and just going with the spirit, if you know what I mean. My fingers and scissors found a rhythm of sorts, as I made sure to layer it up, enhance the little waves and curls, make it shapely around the ears. He was so brave! :P I mean, I might not have just let someone go to town with scissors on my hair. (Although I have cut my own throughout Covid--mainly bangs maintenance, but also evening out layers.)
Anyway, when it was done, I loved it. Looks really good on him. Face-enhancing. Casual, yet cleaned-up. And he says it's the best haircut he's ever had. :) Maybe he's being kind, but I do think he likes it! So, yay--success. And now I'm a little addicted. Anyone need a haircut?
