Permaculture Convergence - Portugal in Transition

Anyone else going?

The event is supported by the camara municipal (our equivalent of City Hall) and costs €15 for all three days, €10 if you're quick! This includes free use of the school gym to sleep in (bring a sleeping bag and a camping mat) or the municipal camp site if you bring a tent. There's a main-line railway station in Fundao which comes all the way up from Lisbon. If you're on it, look out for me getting on a couple of stops before Castelo Branco and say hello. I'm kinda shy...

Olá,
Just a quick one to let you know that you are not alone
I've just made the register for the event, I'm coming from Aveiro.
I hope I will see you there.

Wonderful! I'll see you there Jorge.

I'll be the fat one hiding in the corner wearing a permies tshirt.

It's getting close!

Apparently well over 200 people have booked. I'm going to have to watch that video a few times to calm me down. My hermit side is starting to freak out a bit...

For anyone who missed it, and also for anyone who was there and wants to remember, here's the introductory video.

I'll be posting up a load more stuff as soon as I've got my head back together.

It was totally awesome. My camera packed up and I need to chase up some alternative photos, then I'll start a mega write-up. I seem to have got swamped with 'stuff' but it's high on my to-do list!

Watch this space...
