As you can see from my signature, I write grants (and other things) for a nonprofit. Part of what we do is give out firewood for our clients to use for heating and cooking. Most of them work two or three jobs so don't have much time to even learn how to build a rocket stove, much less do it. Being in the high country of Appalachia (Boone, NC), winters are hard, and we typically run out of firewood during the winter season. And, a certain percentage of our clients move somewhat frequently, for whatever reason.

I have much luck getting things donated. What I want to know is if there is a ready-made rocket stove that can be portable and cheap enough and big enough as a company that they might be willing to donate some. Obviously, the efficiency will help enormously.

Can you direct me to some likely sources?

Thanks so much,
Robyn Cornwell
