for those who just love taking pictures of insect I thought I may as well finally share this years pics of common or uncommon insects, join in if ya like.
the parasitic wasp was a pain in the arse when getting a good picture of it.
the cobalt beetle depends on feeding from the leafs and larva which consumes, I read that they produce weird smells when disturbed but that wont deter me from capturing some for the huge milkweed patch Ill bee growing.

thanks, I have been trying to Identify as many insect as I could in my gardens, some dont even show up in some field guides which makes Identifying that much harder.

nice one, I tend to have a harder time getting bumble bees because when I get too close they spring up fly in circles near you then take off.

Mantis egg pod (likely brown mantis based on the mature fellows who dine on my rose bushes). If you find one of these and are intrigued please resist the urge to bring it into your house and forget all about it (they hatch hundreds at a time).
