There's something wrong with the roof of the wofati!!

Paul and Seth noted it. Can we all pitch in & fix it, so we can keep this image in the book? Otherwise, it'll just get a boring paragraph

Here's the image:

Seth or Paul,

Can you describe what the issue is?

Thank you!!! Having everything correct will allow this to roll forward with complete confidence.

from the article:

The one simple design principle is: every drop of rain must always have a complete downhill soil path. Encountering the edge of the roof is not okay.

So no skylight? Is that all? I can extend the roof up and edit it to make it seamless.

The skylight in this particular image is actually fine - although I'm not sure what to do with the water that lands on the glass.

The problem is with the water that is running down the left roof - it would hit an edge.

AH! So it needs to extend outward away from the structure?

Paul,
Don't forget I am a designer by profession. I can easily make a model of a WOFATI and keep a set of construction plans with 2d and 3d sketches. During anytime in the future all revisions can be made quickly and photos like these can be revised automatically in the construction prints. I use AutoCAD Inventor and Solidworks. If you want me to make an official model and construction print set let's talk.

Ray,

Do you have a link to something similar so I can see what you are talking about?

Well, I have a GrabCAD account here: https://grabcad.com/ray.cecil-1

There isn't anything architectural in my projects on my grabcad account, but I am capable of architectural design and developing blueprints. Professionally I do mechanical design, but I did have a year or two designing custom metal roofs on stadiums and bank, and commercial buildings, therefore I am very familiar with architectural plans.

All I am saying is I am willing to work with you in my spare time to help develop the communities ideas in to actual prints for documentation or for construction.

Ray and Jesse,

It would be really great to have a LOT more images to get the idea across. Mostly images showing the different phases. Jesse, I know that you have designed a LOT of stuff here, including wofatis. Moire, more, more!

At the moment, Matt is needing something drawn for his book .... probably hand drawn.
