How to grant the LGD to all the pastures in the field.

So we have sheep and pigs and chickens. We move them from pasture to pasture, and the 54" fencing is all really good. But... the cross fencing keeps the LGDs from being able to go from one paddock to another.

Does anyone have a good solution that would allow the GPs to get from one paddock to the next?

We install sheep/pig panel sections in deer feed pens that have a flattened V section, the flat part of the V is 30-32" to allow fawns to jump into the pens but still keep the feral hogs and livestock out. The V is 48" wide, each side is angled down to center 1' that is 32".

How about a stile?

Depends, I suppose, how diligent your dogs are about moving between paddocks. But for example: dog opens gate on you tube so all you have to do is fit self closing gates and you are away!

Common thing used for access to dog feeders. Add a bar across the top to keep cows and horses from trying to walk through.

Now if someone could come up with a gate which allows access to hedgehogs but keeps rabbits out, I'd be REALLY impressed!

R hasting, I apologize for not getting back on here sooner, I kept thinking I'd get out to some of the properties to get some pics but the rains are timed just enough to keep us on pavement here lately. Imagine cutting a flat bottom V in a section of cattle panel just like the pic of the dog door, bottom of the V is only 12" wide, the top is 18", the small gap isn't big enough for most livestock to feel comfortable enough to cross but would allow the dog to jump over, you could also dig crawl unders for the dogs even though I try to teach my hunting dogs not to go under, to many landowners around these parts keep fence snares out and will make short work of dogs.

Mr. Winterbourne, not being familiar with hedgehogs, I'm not sure, but if you can rabbit proof the fence a push gate wouldn't be hard to build to allow the hedgehogs through, if they'll push a little weight, just have experiment on how much harder they're willing to push vs the rabbits. Do a google search for push through gates for hog traps for designs.
