This week Linda Ly will be joining us to talk about all sorts of different ways to holistically prepare food by using ALL of the vegetables, not just the stereotypically accepted parts of vegetables.

There are four copies of her book, The CSA Cookbook up for grabs.

Linda will be stopping by on the forum over the next few days answering questions and joining in discussions.

From now through this Friday, any posts in this forum, ie the cooking forum, could be selected to win.

To win, you must use a name that follows our naming policy and you must have your email set up in Paul's Daily-ish email.

The winner will be notified by email and must respond within 24 hours.

Posts in this thread won't count, but please feel free to say hi to Linda and make her feel welcome!

Also, just for fun. Here is a picture of Linda and I when I went to see her give a talk about her book at the Petaluma Seed Bank! She's amazing! Ask her any questions about using unusual parts of vegetables so we don't waste anything!!

I'm finally just starting being a CSA member this year and this book looks amazing. I know once my CSA starts in going to be struggling to come up with uses for all the fruits and veggies we get but that is part of the fun I guess lol

I just showed this thread to my wife and we are excited to learn more about using everything in our CSA box. We had considered stopping our subscription because we thought we were wasting too much of the produce provided. Thanks for the work, Linda!

Welcome Linda. I think a lot of people could benefit from learning how to use their CSA baskets. I just posted a thread entitled Wasted Food: aka, Why This Farmer Hated CSA .

What a great what a great idea for a book – Linda – thank you! And it's really fun to see your 2 legged and four-legged family included in the promotional video.

So I ran the winner picker app in the forum software and we have 2 winners.

Am Ainsworth
and
Ann Torrence

Congratulations Anne and Am!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book and a permies care package.
