Found y'all's forum from a Google result related tot 'cat feces black soldier fly', and created a login to high five Duane Hennon about the 5 Kingdoms info--this one: http://www.zeri.org/ZERI/Five_Kingdoms_of_Nature.html That is such interesting stuff!

I've been an urbanite for most of my life, but aspire to make an earthship someday. Meantime, my husband and I conserve water, occasionally use a solar over, keep a space for the Hermetia Illucens (BSF), and otherwise keep a family of 5 cats as happy as we can.

This is the second forum that I've joined, the other being devoted to all things Black Soldier Fly, http://blacksoldierflyblog.com.

Howdy! Another fellow Texan!

Welcome to permies Mari!

For an overview of how this forum works, please visit the Universal Welcome and Links to Useful Threads pages.

This is currently the first and only forum I have been on, and I think it is a wonderful part of the Internet.

I hope you find answers to any questions you have here, and we look forward to hearing more about you and your husband's journeys.

You can find things out about cats in the dogs and cats subforum. Also for the connivence of users on permeis, there is a compilation of free tools for learning permaculture and working on permaculture projects at the Guide To Getting Help on Projects thread.

Howdy Mari, welcome to permies! Is it still raining down there?
What's brown and sticky? ... a stick. Or a tiny ad.
