I've started a new forum for talking about butchering, hanging, aging, curing, rendering, smoking, making jerky, making sausages, making burger, freezing, canning, cooking meat... and everything else related to meatsmithing.

Many people feel that livestock are a vital part of the homestead and diet. This is a friendly place for people to talk about home butchery (cutting up a carcass), cooking and curing meat, and anything else related to meatsmithing. This is a place where we respect the animals that gave their lives to nourish us, and learn how to make the most of their contribution.

These are some of my favourite videos about meatsmithing.

This video of a chef's night out is fun and marginally instructive. More on the inspirational side of the scale. I'm going watch it again right now!

Chris has 3 apples and Monika has 4 apples. With this tiny ad they can finally make a pie!
