Cream Separator

Hi everyone!
You can easily make cheese with the help of MilkyDay equipment:

Hi Linda, I really enjoyed the video. I've never seen a cream separator in action before. Do you think it would work for goats milk?

I need to suck it up and get one. I tried ladels, syringes for injecting meat, and basters. I'm averaging half and half In stead of heavy cream

We used a milk separator regularly in our goat dairy. It is the most practical way to get goat cream and butter. The cream actually separates best when the milk is warm. When we wanted to do a larger batch we would warm the evening milking and run that then strain the morning milking directly into the separator. With the milk warm it took little extra to make skim milk cheese.
Goat cream and butter are always white which was a slight problem in the 1950's because people would assume it was uncolored margarine.

Raven, have you found one that suits you? I have to separate sheep cream and milk.... Sheep milk has more fat than goats I think, but still not easy....

Both presentations of those models are obviously profesional = advertizing.
Of course they ALL work with any milk...

Looking at them on internet... we have to choose between plastic and aluminium..... I find none of them to be great...

I like manual tools, but they seem more expensive, and also is needed 200ml of industrial oil in it to make it run! I have no idea if a natural oil can be used instead.... It is difficult to find all our criterii to be met!
