In the past couple of days, I would see something interesting on the Recent Topics page but when I go to that forum looking for that last post, it isn't there. I've noticed that the two most recent times, the person posting it had just registered to this site. Why is this?

There could be a number of reasons
The person could have edited there post or possibly they are spammers and the mods have kicked their ass
This latter reason is sadly very common

...and it could be that a response to a removed post was removed because it didn't make any sense without the removed post
