We are very interested in starting a RINGING CEDARS style Village, based on many of Anastasia's principals of KINS DOMAINS..... each of us creating our SPACE of LOVE, that feeds and shelters us for the rest of our lives..... We are very experienced in creating Homesteads from the ground up... gardening, off grid power systems, natural building, livestock care, homemade Dairy products, community living and all aspects of simple, natural living, intimately with the Earth.... We are looking at land in the western states, with abundant live, pure water sources... If you might be interested in building your self-sufficient, Space of Love  on land with us... and have some money to help buy the property... then lets start the conversation....and pool our resources to make this Happen.........      In Love,  With Life, Sunny & Sequoia     sunnybabaspirit@yahoo.com

Just ran into this forum, and found references to Vedrica Forest Gardens, a Ringing Cedars-inspired community, I happen to be a member of.
The community is well and alive but unfortunately the LLC (a legal wrapper) has been hijacked (literally) by one of the members.
We are now forced to fight the savage and it looks like the only option is a legal action.
In any case, please visit our site (vedrica.org) and leave your input in the blog - we need publicity and a kind word!
Thank you

Sorry to hear about your legal complications, Leo. Hope you get them sorted out so you can move forward with expanding the community.

To Iona and Michael, I hope you will get this message.
I've lost both of your emails when the ol' laptop went kaput. I'm so sorry not to have gotten back to you. We are usually very prompt in our replies and I know what it's like to not hear back from a sincere request.

After looking for a long time for our "ideal" of a Ringing Cedars-type community, and not having any leads, we decided this winter that it was time to make a move anyway. We did not want to put another few years of investment into our place here knowing we would eventually move. So....we found a community( not ringing cedars) in SW New Mexico that comes close to fitting our ideal in some ways. It's really difficult to find a place that has everything we want. But it is remote, off grid, good water, lots of sunshine, mild climate, infinite browsing potential for the goats, we can build what we want, spiritual( am I allowed to say that here?) and inhabited by a small group of folks who's #1 motivation is to "study the sacred manuscript of Nature". Something that Anastasia might say!
We are in the middle of moving now, very chaotic but full of promise for a bright future. Just waiting for a well driller to come and give us some water to create our oasis.
I thank you both so much for responding to our ad and for having this vision in your hearts. I trust that the Kins Domains will find their footing here in the US and people like us will have land on which to flourish and thrive.

Thanks for starting this thread sunny, it's definitely the reason I was sure I needed to contact you both! And I am forever grateful that I did. I just wanted to post here that my partner and I are also searching for an Anastasia inspired community. We have 20 beautiful acres in rural southwest Washington. 2 creeks, south facing hills, mixed hardwood forests and temperatures above 20 throughout the winter. For anyone who clicked on this thread looking for a place to start a Kinsdomain with like minded folks, send me a pm or email Jaime.wise@hotmail.com. Search my user name to read more details about our vision on this land in other threads I've started. Thanks sunny and sequioa! Hope to come for a visit this year or next.
