The Grow Network also sometimes promotes this course at a greatly reduced price, if you have time to wait for it to go on sale. Perhaps you can email a request for the reduced price?

If you are prepared to spend a bunch of money there are many online intensive herbal courses. Just do your research on the school you are interested in.
Here is where I want to spend my money on an intensive course. I have chosen this school because he does a lot of wild harvesting, near my region and climate, so I ought to be able to find or grow the same medicinals near my home. He is a practicing herbalist, and offers a free database of herbal plants on his site.

I see that you did request video specifically, I mention these because they may be easier on the budget. My favorite
books...
My most used reference book:

Good for using with purchased or self grown herbs. It has a small section on how salves, tinctures, formentations, etc. are made...has a sections on individual herbs and what they have been used to treat, and a section on ailments and what to use to treat them.
This book has very detailed sections on how to make remedies and grow each of the covered herbs. I like it for the step by step instructions. Also covers how to
sell products.

Just don't get hung up on just these specific herbs. They may not be good for YOUR climate. This is where the first book comes in handy, identifying additional herbs with the desired herbal properties you want that may grow for you. Though growing them is not covered in the book.
