leguminous tree seed availability

Does anyone know of any online leguminous tree seed retailers?

What in particular are you looking for?

Ideally something that will grow in the PNW

Locusts grow well in the PNW I believe.

Hmmm...Know of a deep rooted leguminous tree? Say one that would be compatible with woodland herb production?

Whatever you do, DO NOT order seeds from "White River Source" nursery in Richmond, Indiana. I ordered and paid for Alder, pine nut and Peashrub seeds, then when they didn't send them or return e-mails, I learned the hard way that they have a history of ripping people off. ops:

I know that he offers black Locust and Siberian Pea bush/Tree.  Probably several others.
I have dealt with him for years, and never any surprises!  They are in their 100th year, and the present Owner/Operator has been there about 40 years.

His prices are quite reasonable.  Order 1 or 2 packets from him and he will send you a catalog (all seeds listed by their Latin names). with your order.  The catalog is a great reference book on plants.

Check out the Acacia section. Now that's a wide variety!  The most variety of all the leguminous trees.  In Robina (Locust) all they carry is Black Locust.
